The renowned brandy arrives with Brandy Prestigio 50. This particular type of brandy is the result of a long tradition in the production of this renowned beverage. In addition, it comes from a solera that comes from a very special vintage, a 1946 reserve, from which a very limited, numbered, controlled and exclusive series of bottles of Brandy Prestigio is produced each year.
How is it achieved? It is obtained through the distillation of wine, with an alcohol volume of 40% and aged by the traditional solera method, whereby Brandy Prestigio is deposited in American oak casks for a minimum of 5 years. These butts must have contained for at least three years some of the types of sherry wines.
Distillation is carried out with the wines without their lees and by simple distillation, separating the heads and tails and selecting only the central fraction of the spirits.
This solera process gives Brandy Prestigio 50 organoleptic properties over time. It is due to the type of wood the boots are made of and the liquid they have previously contained. About ¼ of the total content is extracted from each boot. Subsequently, the vacuum generated in each of the soleras is replenished with brandy from butts located on the next level up. This fractioned aging process gives Brandy Prestigio great homogeneity and proven quality.
The result is a distillate of intense aroma and crystalline brown color with soft touches of licorice and wood. There is no doubt that it is a treat for the palate. It exceeds the expectations of the most select and demanding. You will not find a brandy like it. No other is as exclusive as the limited number of this signature bottled each year.
