Tequila is probably the best known and most representative drink of Mexico around the world. The truth is that it enjoys worldwide recognition, with a tremendous boom since the twentieth century.
Tequila allows many ways to drink it. For the most daring palates, the classic way to do it is only with the undisputed accompaniment of salt and lemon. If you prefer a cocktail, there is a wide range of different types of cocktails, of which we highlight three:
- Bloody Mary: three quarters tequila mixed with half tomato and half lime juice. Add a pinch of salt, a pinch of pepper and three cloves. Finally, you can mix it with a little syrup to give it a special touch.
- Margarita: it contains most of the tequila and is mixed with triple dry and lime juice in equal parts.
- Daiquiri: a combination of tequila and lime in equal parts and a double part of syrup.
