Quetzal Reposado Tequila

Description

Tequila is a distillate that takes its name two centuries ago from a municipality called Igual, located in the state of Jalisco, Mexico. As such, our Quetzal Coatl tequila is made in Mexico, in the geographical area of appellation of origin following the traditional Mexican method. The Tequila appellation of origin territory comprises 181 municipalities in 5 Mexican states: 125 municipalities in the state of Jalisco, 8 in Nayarit, 7 in Guanajuato, 30 in Michoacán and 11 in Tamaulipas. It is made from the fermentation and distillation of the juice extracted from the Blue agave, with denomination of origin from these five states of the Mexican Republic.

Tequila is probably the best known and most representative drink of Mexico around the world. The truth is that it enjoys worldwide recognition, with a tremendous boom since the twentieth century.

Tequila allows many ways to drink it. For the most daring palates, the classic way to do it is only with the undisputed accompaniment of salt and lemon. If you prefer a cocktail, there is a wide range of different types of cocktails, of which we highlight three:

• Bloody Mary: three quarters tequila mixed with half tomato and half lime juice. Add a pinch of salt, a pinch of pepper and three cloves. Finally, you can mix it with a little syrup to give it a special touch.
• Margarita: it contains most of the tequila and is mixed with triple dry and lime juice in equal parts.
• Daiquiri: a combination of tequila and lime in equal parts and a double part of syrup.
